Dr. Charles Sarosy is a board certified surgeon and has been practicing Cosmetic Surgery for the past ten years. He is a member of the American Society of Cosmetic Breast Surgery and the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. He has performed thousands of surgery procedures with a very high rate of patient satisfaction.
His goals are patient safety and meeting the specific needs and expectations of each patient. This facilitated through an in-depth consultation with the Doctor and his Assistant. Dr. Sarosy utilizes state-of-the-art surgical techniques. He attends several cosmetic seminars a year to stay up-to-date on the newest and most innovative treatments. His goal is to achieve a natural appearing, highly aesthetic result.
Dr. Sarosy was raised in New York and completed his surgical training in San Diego. He graduated third in college and second in his medical class. He received numerous awards in medical school including an award for most outstanding performance in surgery. He was president of AOA, a prestigious medical school honor society. Over the past ten years, Dr. Sarosy has performed over 5,000 cosmetic surgical procedures. He has trained many physicians in the art of liposculpture and was faculty at LSU Medical center prior to relocating back to San Diego. He is currently the medical director of the Vein & Liposculpture Center in La Mesa, California.

Dr. Carl A. Powell is a board certified surgeon who specializes in Cosmetic and Laser Medicine and Surgery. He is a Fellow in the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, the American Society of Cosmetic Breast Surgery and the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery. He is a member of the American Society of Liposuction Surgery and the American College of Phlebology. He is a Board of Trustee for the California Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. Dr. Powell has performed thousands of surgical procedures over the course of a twenty-five year surgical career. Dr. Powell grew up in California, attended college at the United States Naval Academy, did premedical training at San Diego State University, and completed medical school at the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific. He received the “Most Outstanding Student” award graduating in the top ten percent of his medical school class. He was recognized by his faculty in “Who's Who in American Medical Schools” for his achievements during his four years of medical school.
Dr. Powell served in the Navy for thirty-one years prior to retiring in 2002. His surgical training was from the University of California—Davis where he trained under surgeons in San Francisco, Oakland, and Sacramento. During the last year of surgical training, Dr. Powell was chosen to accompany a distinguished cardiothoracic surgeon to Leningrad to train Russian heart surgeons. Dr. Powell received his initial plastic and cosmetic surgery training from plastic surgeons in San Francisco and Oakland as part of his residency program.
Dr. Powell spent the last seven years in the Navy taking care of military families and retirees at Camp Pendleton Naval Hospital. During this period, he trained hundreds of doctors, nurses, and corpsman in operational and wartime surgical care as well as medical students and residents in hospital care. He had the honor to serve as a surgical fellow and faculty member for Baylor University operating at Ben Taub County Hospital, in Houston, Texas. Many of Dr. Powell's trainees were instrumental in saving lives in Afghanistan and Iraq.
Dr. Powell has been dedicated to cosmetic surgery for the last seven years. He has been trained by prominent surgeons throughout the country, has attended workshops and seminars on the newest procedures and has personally performed more than a thousand cosmetic procedures. He served as the director of the San Diego Laser Medical Center for a year and the Cardiff Medical Spa for four years prior to opening Image Centre Salon and Medical Spa in November 2008. He is presently an examiner for the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery. He joined Dr. Sarosy in forming Image Centre Salon and Medical Spa in order to bring the full spectrum of cosmetic care to the North County area. He is dedicated to providing state of the art cosmetic care, in a safe and non-threatening manner and at a fair and reasonable price. His goal is to improve every individual's self esteem and self image by bringing out and enhancing their natural beauty.
